WARNING: STRONG VIOLENCE AHEAD

It’s spooky season once again. You know what that means. It’s time to dive into another 31 deadly, bloody, horrifying deathmatches as we go into the 3rd annual deathmatch calendar. As always, this will be a day-by-day calendar of gore as we break into some of the greatest, nastiest, and most infamous of deathmatches across the years culminating with my pick of the year so far at the number 31 spot. With the preamble out of the way, let’s see what is awaiting us in this year’s tour of wrestling terror.

Deathmatch Wrestling is sometimes the best way to settle a feud. No Peace Underground has always flown the flag for progressive wrestling. Earlier this year it crowned an openly gay champion in Parrow and before that, put on Fear the Gay Agenda, a show comprised of LGBTQ+ wrestlers and allies that put the world on notice. The show had a whole host of incredible matches and ended with the ultimate clash of the daddies, Parrow vs EFFY. Two of the biggest champions for LGBTQ+ wrestlers in wrestling were about to collide in a last daddy-standing deathmatch to see who could be the top daddy of No Peace. EFFY had once run things and had claimed to be the puppet master behind Parrow’s rise to power. Now, he was taking it back and leaving an undefeated Parrow a bloody mess for daring to overtake him.

What followed was a knock-out, drag-out horror show of glass, broken doors, and broken bodies. Parrow and EFFY beat the absolute hell out of each other. EFFY went full SGC mode to make sure no one could question his deathmatch credentials. He ate chair shots to the head like they were nothing and put Parrow through hell as he fought through blows that would kill people, using anything and everything in his power to do it. Light-tubes broke everywhere and every time the match looked to end, it would be kickstarted again as one of the men beat the count and tore the other from the throne. In the end, EFFY couldn’t climb Mount Parrow and had to admit defeat but it had taken a flaming glass chokeslam to do so. Parrow had taken on some of the best the deathmatch world had to offer and here, he had been pushed the hardest yet as EFFY continued to find ways back from the dead. This really put Parrow on the deathmatch map and gave him all the pretence he needed to ascend the No Peace ranks. Now, he stands at the top still undefeated and the deathmatch Daddy Bear mauling any challenge that comes his way. LGBTQ+ wrestlers should be everywhere, that is a given but here, they were really given a green light to show off, show out and bleed however much they wanted. Equal rights, equal fights, pride violence. Come back tomorrow for the next deathmatch delight.
