Right here, right now. Happy Day 280 of 2021. Episode 40. Right here, right now. “There’s nothing you can know that isn’t known. Nothing you can see that isn’t shown. There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be. It’s easy.” Right here, right now. Choose the way you want your road to be. In two weeks, it will be too late to think about it. The others would have done it before you…
On the menu, this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, Bullet Club will face off FinJuice and Chris Sabin. IMPACT World Champion will team up with his challenger Josh Alexander against Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. The second X-Division Tournament Triple Threat Match will see Black Taurus, Petey Williams and Steve Maclin square off. Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans and Mercedes Martinez will compete against Lady Frost, Brandi Lauren and Kimber Lee. We’ll also hear from Heath. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

D’Lo Brown and Josh Mathews were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Laredo Kid defeated Drama King Matt Rehwoldt.

  • Bullet Club (Chris Bey, Hikuleo & El Phantasmo) defeated FinJuice (Juice Robinson & David Finlay) & Chris Sabin.

  • Backstage, Josh Alexander told Gia Miller he calls himself the wild card going into his World title match at Bound For Glory. But tonight, he hopes Christian Cage watches what he can do in their tag match.

  • In the ring, Heath smiled and said he’s glad to see fans in the audience again. He revisited the long and difficult year he’s had sitting on the sidelines with an injury. He said his wife and children were great nurses who helped speed up his recovery process. One thing that bothered him was how things ended with Rhino. Heath is not a fan of Violent By Design. He believes they brainwashed his friend. He called out Rhino so they could talk face-to-face. It wasn’t Rhino who comes out. It was VBD instead.

  • Eric Young said he made Rhino stronger, and now, he does the talking for him. Heath said Rhino belongs to no one. Young mentioned the Rhino he once tagged with and built a brotherhood with is gone. Young wanted Heath to leave his ring now. Heath refused. VBD stepped in and laid a 3-on-1 beatdown on him. They laid their flag on top of Heath’s lifeless body.

  • Backstage, Willie Mack, with Rich Swann, told Gia Miller he was hopeful about his spot in the X-Division Title Tournament. He will face Rohit Raju and El Phantasmo. Brian Myers’ Learning Tree (Manny Lemons and Zicky Dice) stepped in and taunted Mack and Swann. Swann was going to try and get a match with them tonight. Brian Myers thought Lemons and Dice did a dumb thing trying to stick their nose in Mack and Swann’s business. He refused to be in their corner or watch their matchup later tonight.

  • Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans & Mercedes Martinez defeated Kimber Lee, Brandi Lauren & Lady Frost. After the match, Alisha brought out Kendra, the kendo stick, and swang it across Kimber Lee and Brandi Lauren.

  • Backstage, Gail Kim found Alisha and said she will be allowed to use Kendra against Kimber Lee, Savannah Evans and Jordynne Grace in the Monster’s Ball Match that will honour Shannon “Daffney” Spruill at Knockouts Knockdown.

  • “It’s All About Me” with Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K. Rayne said the headlines read, “The Influence Will Become The New Knockouts Champions On Saturday.” Speaking of their challengers, the Knockouts Tag Team Champions Decay (Havok and Rosemary) were their guests. Dashwood went on a tirade. She dropped every cuss word known to man. Dashwood refused to answer any of Decay’s questions. She wanted them to leave. Rosemary refused. In fact, she teased them that Decay is looking for a new body to snatch. The Influence freaked out and left the set.

  • Moose and W. Morrissey are now an alliance. They are the newest entrances in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory.

  • X-Division Title Tournament: Steve Maclin defeated Petey Williams and Black Taurus.

  • Backstage, IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage told Gia Miller he has good thoughts going into this tag team match. He asked Josh Alexander to keep his emotions in check. Cage turned around and saw Christopher Daniels stand in front of him. Daniels wanted a shot at the World Championship. He was going to let Cage think about it.

  • At Swinger’s Palace, Johnny Swinger was packing up the Casino to get on the way to Vegas.

  • Rich Swann & Willie Mack quickly defeated Learning Tree (Manny Lemons & Zicky Dice). After the match, the rest of the Learning Tree, with Brian Myers, came out and beat up Rich Swann and Willie Mack.

  • In the Management Office, Deonna Purrazzo was speaking with Gail Kim and Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore. D’Amore had put in a no-contact clause between the two of them until Bound For Glory. Gail Kim had an idea for both of them in the meantime. Both ladies will pick each other opponents in a Pick Your Poison match. James will go first. She will choose Purrazzo’s opponent at Knockouts Knockdown this Saturday (it’s since been revealed it would be Masha Slamovich).

  • Impact World Champion Christian Cage & Josh Alexander defeated Ace Austin & Madman Fulton. After the match, Josh was annoyed about the fact Christian took the win from him but Christian tapped him on the shoulder and walked off to end the show.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– Bullet Club (Chris Bey, Hikuleo & El Phantasmo) vs FinJuice (Juice Robinson & David Finlay) & Chris Sabin

Chris Sabin and Chris Bey kicked off this big fight feel with a tie-up. Bey backed Sabin into the corner, then broke the hold cleanly. Sabin and Bey traded Irish Whips. Bey sent Sabin over with a standing sunset flip. Both men jumped to their feet. Juice Robinson and El Phantasmo were in and ready to square off. The Impact Tag Team Champs Good Brothers were watching on a dual monitor. Robinson mocked ELP after hitting an inverted atomic drop. Robinson stayed on top of him with a jumping senton. Robinson dragged ELP with him while making a take to David Finlay. Finlay almost lost his balance coming down from the top with a double axe handle.

Sabin was tagged back in and continued to ground ELP. Sabin made a quick tag to Robinson. Robinson rocked ELP and Bey with double jabs. Bey and ELP took Robinson off his feet. Bey brought ELP back in. ELP held Robinson down while Hikuleo dropped off the top with a back rake. Hikuleo and Finlay were the legal men. Finlay got caught mid-air after jumping off the middle rope with a crossbody.

Hikuleo slammed Finlay to the canvas and got ELP back in. Finlay hit a devastating neckbreaker to ELP and a massive backbreaker on Bey. Sabin ran in with an assisted DDT on Bey and ELP. FinJuice and Sabin flew out of the ring with triple Pescados. Back in the ring, Robinson crashed into Bey in the corner with a cannonball. Hikuleo chokeslammed Sabin. ELP connects with the Sudden Death superkick on Robinson. In the ring, Sabin was rolling. ELP hit a NutCracker on Sabin as Sabin hoisted Bey up for Cradle Shock. Bey hit The Art of Finesse on Sabin to pick up the win.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so these two pictures… It’s a Nutsy world, ladies and gentlemen…

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week

– IMPACT Digital Media Championship

John Skyler defeated Zicky Dice and Crazzy Steve defeated Hernandez. The matches are available on Impact Wrestling Facebook and Twitter.

Knockouts Knockdown

If you read my Deonna Purrazzo and Mickie James press pass report, if you soaked into my Christy Hemme interview, you’d know this iPPV is not like any other. It’s a celebration of all the talented women wrestlers. For some, it’s an event. For me, it’s just absolutely normal. And the day people will start considering women wrestling as something normal, that doesn’t need to be questioned, then we could stop talking about a revolution.

Bound For Glory

Two weeks before the PPV… Moose, W. Morrissey, Brian Myers and Rich Swann will take part in the Call your Shot Gauntlet Match.

To be eNYGMAtic…

The focus was more on Knockouts Knockdown than on Bound For Glory this week. A lot of good action, some storylines are still in the making, but that was good. I tried to remember why Alisha desperately wanted a match against Kimber Lee, but she was so into it and hardcore I forgot to find an answer.
The Nutcracking celebration was too good (the second pic on the NJPW tweet is supposed to be from after the match, from a segment that never aired). It was exactly what I needed even if, for sure, the manhood of some took a big blow.
We’re 2 weeks away from Bound For Glory. Once again, some things will be announced at the last minute. I will say as always because that’s become a classic from the company. This is the biggest event of the year for Impact Wrestling. So let’s get nuts…
On this “Nygma Is Going Nuts” note, until Knockouts Knockdown, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, go get vaccinated, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
