New Wave Pro is preparing to put on its biggest show to date to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Through a press release, we’ve learned that the company plans to bring back JTG and introduce the Wasteland Warlord Max the Impaler as part of the tenth-anniversary show, Anniversary X, when they arrive at the West Vigo Community Centre in Terra Haute Indiana on Saturday, January 22nd.
So far, the company has announced several matches that will see the regulars and newcomers alike going to war. Don’t Die Miles will face their toughest NWP defence yet as they take on Max the Impaler, Lord Crewe welcomes back a returning JTG, Charlie Kruel takes on Alice Crowley, Jay Marston defends his Ultra Rapid Title against Gorgeous Morgan Taylor and Aaron Williams will tangle with Sage Philips. Plus, former NWP champion Solomon Tupu has announced an open challenge to anyone willing to step to him. Alongside that, Eric Dillinger, Ace Perry, Nate Matthews, Anakin Murphy, New Wave Pro World Tag Team Champions The Von Engelands, Cameron Saturn, and Freddie Hudson are all slated to appear.
After celebrating a successful 2021, New Wave Pro owner Michael Guess said:
“We want to start 2022 as strongly as we ended 2021, and with Anniversary we are going to do just that. We are proud to welcome back a world-renowned star like JTG while debuting incredible talents like Max the Impaler. We want to put New Wave Pro on the map this year, and this is just the beginning.”
Alongside that, New Wave Pro Creative Director Earl Joseph said:
“Anniversary X will be a time to reflect on how well-established this company is, and also a chance to consider just how far we have come in the last 18 months. We are firmly of the belief that 2022 will be the year of New Wave Pro!”
Tickets for Anniversary X are available here and start at $10. More information about the event can be found on their Facebook page and the NWP Twitter account.
