Here was the case. On the Road to Sacrifice, it’s time to face the flames. Are you ready to sell your soul for your opinions? Do you want to offer your body for what you believe in? Did you choose the right beliefs? On Saturday night, you’ll know… And the case continues…
On the menu this week, from New Orleans, Louisiana, Eddie Edwards will face off Steve Maclin. Johnny Swinger will compete against JONAH. Madison Rayne will fight against Cassie Lee, one-half of The IInspiration. Tasha Steelz will face off Chelsea Green to determine who will square off with Mickie James at Sacrifice for the Knockouts title. Guerillas of Destiny and Violent By Design will team up against The Bullet Club. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

Tom Hannifan and The Drama King Matt Rehwoldt were on commentary. On ‘BTI’, Brian Myers defeated Crazzy Steve in a good match (BTI is now available only on Impact Wrestling YouTube and Facebook channels at 7.30 PM EST/12.30 AM GMT, and on Impact Plus).

  • Steve Maclin defeated Eddie Edwards via DQ when Eddie hit him with Kenny (not Kenny King, Kenny the kendo stick…). Team Impact came to make the save.

  • After the match, Maria came out with Honor No More to tell team Impact they’ve all been brainwashed and now that Eddie left they have to question everything. Heath said that’s the most delusional BS he’s ever heard. Vincent said that he knows delusional because he used to work with delusional people but Heath thinking he will become IMPACT World Champion is beyond delusional, it’s pure insanity. Heath called Vincent to the ring and said he’ll show him how insane he is. Vincent appeared to take him up on his offer as he walked to the ring with Honor No More behind him.

  • Heath w/ Team Impact defeated Vincent w/ Honor No More.

  • After the match, Honor No More attacked Heath but Team Impact evened the odds. Moose hit the ring and got dropped with a wake-up call as well. Heath covered and they counted the three to symbolize his potential to become champion on Saturday.

  • Masha Slamovich defeated Raychell Rose in less than a minute. We now have a hospital filled with 5 victims of the Russian Death Device…

  • Backstage, Tama Tonga, with Tanga Loa,  reminded Jay White that he brought him in. He told Jay he’s a liar and now it’s personal. Eric Young walked up and told Tama that they need to put all of their issues in the backseat and become business partners. Eric asked what he thinks, Tama looked at Tanga Loa and they both agreed before walking away.

  • Backstage, Mike Bailey was doing yoga when Ace Austin walked up. Ace told Bailey he wants to take him straight to the top. Mike said they could be a great team and they have a better shot to become champions than Ace and Fulton. This pissed Fulton off as Bailey walked away.

  • Knockouts Tag Team Champion Cassie Lee w/ Jessica McKay defeated Madison Rayne w/ Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K. He caught Jessie like they were in love and this distracted everyone…

  • Video footage on Jake Something, highlighting his recent successes in Impact Wrestling. Jake said his time is now and, at Sacrifice, he has his biggest opportunity and Trey has his biggest threat.

  • Tasha Steelz defeated Chelsea Green thanks to a big boot from Savannah Evans. Mickie James was at the commentary. Tasha Tasha stared down at her after the match. Mickie told Tasha she hopes she’s proud because she didn’t earn this match.

  • Backstage, Matt Cardona was walking but was stopped by security guys who told him that he needs a backstage pass. Cardona said his championship is a pass. He walked around showing off his texts and pictures of his championship. Cardona said if no one respects him, he’s going to go anywhere else and defend the Digital Media Championship.
  • JONAH defeated Johnny Swinger in less than a minute (not a fanny bag fan, JONAH? Even if Fanny pays the drink?). After the match, JONAH headed to the top rope, looking for another Tsunami on Swinger. Before he could dive, PCO made his way to the ring and they went face to face for a moment but JONAH headbutted him and scoop-slammed him. JONAH headed right to the top and hit PCO with a Tsunami. JONAH shook the dirt off his shoulders, went to leave but PCO sits up and went after JONAH, hitting him with a clothesline out of the ring. JONAH considered going back after PCO but decided to head to the back instead.

  • Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo was telling Gia Miller about the Champ Champ challenge when Gisele Shaw interrupted and told Deonna she’s living in the shadow of her because she picked up the Lady Frost scraps. Gisele was asked if she’ll accept the Champ Champ challenge but Lady Frost came up and said she won’t as she has to face Lady Frost at Sacrifice.

  • Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey and IMPACT Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers) defeated Violent By Design (Joe Doering & Deaner) and Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa). It started out as a big brawl. Security hit the ring to separate the teams. Scott D’Amore came out yelling and said he’s man enough to admit he makes bad decisions. None of them was as bad as this match because, clearly, there’s no way this match can happen as a regular match, he made it a no-DQ bout. Some action happened backstage.

  • After the show went off-air, The Good Brothers and G.O.D. were still brawling outside.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– Heath w/ Team Impact vs Vincent w/ Honor No More

Heath and Vincent locked up but neither took control. Heath dropped Vincent with a shoulder tackle and taunted his opponent. They locked up again and Heath went behind for a waist lock but Vincent fought out with an elbow and sent Heath into the ropes, Vincent threw himself into Heath with a crossbody chop and dropped Heath. Vincent stared down at Heath who again went for a waist lock and transitioned into a headlock. Vincent reversed out and both men got to their feet. Vincent hit a kick to the midsection and sent Heath into the top turnbuckle but Heath blocked it, sending Vincent face-first into the turnbuckle instead. Heath laid into Vincent with a number of rights before heading to another turnbuckle and smashed Vincent’s head into the turnbuckle 10 times. Heath hit a shot to the head and talked trash to Honor No More as he lifted Vincent up for an elbow to the head.

Vincent caught Heath with a clothesline off the ropes and fell into the corner of Honor No More who mocked him as Heath lifted him up and sent him into the ropes. Heath reversed, sending Vincent into the ropes but Vincent returned and dropped Heath with a neckbreaker. Heath hit an atomic drop that sent Vincent to the mat, Vincent got up but Heath set him down and kicked him right in the lower back. Heath laid into Vincent with a series of shots to the head before stomping away at him. Heath bounced off the ropes but Taven grabbed his boot, distracting Heath. Vincent hit a shot to the midsection and dropped Heath with a neckbreaker. Back from break, Vincent had Heath up against the ropes, laying into him with shots before getting Irish-whipped into the side, Vincent reversed into a side Russian leg sweep. Vincent went back to his feet, Heath charged him in the corner and ate a knee.

Vincent connected with a side suplex and transitioned right into a flatliner on Heath who was in a kneeling position. Vincent went to his feet but Heath Speared him into the corner before lifting him to the top turnbuckle. Vincent dropped Heath off the turnbuckle with a right hand, Vincent dove onto Heath and locked in a guillotine. Heath countered it out into a suplex. Both men went to their feet, Vincent threw a few punches but they were both blocked. Heath fired up and dropped Vincent with a big boot. Heath went for a splash on Vincent in the corner, but Vincent moved. Vincent went to the top and hit the Redrum Swanton on Heath. Heath staggered to his feet and was immediately caught with a right hand from Vincent that dropped him. Vincent went for another side Russian leg sweep but Heath countered and dropped Vincent with the Wake-up Call for the win.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

Could we change the Knockouts Tag Team titles match into a Kaleb with a K custody match?

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts of the Week

– Welcome to Masha’s Hospital…

I was joking about it earlier in the review but there’s no doubt in my mind Masha has the potential to become Knockouts Champion. Only if she is given true competition…

– April 1st won’t be a joke…

IMPACT is coming to WrestleCon with IMPACT Wrestling: Multiverse of Matches, LIVE Friday, April 1st at 10 pm ET exclusively on FITE. The first match to be announced for this monumental event is a clash between two of the most successful tag teams in professional wrestling history – The Good Brothers and the Briscoe Brothers. With their series tied at one win apiece, this highly-anticipated rubber match will determine the superior team once and for all. The second show will be a Throwback Throwdown, as announced here.
AND (the cool thing about being a bit late…) on the same night, the high-risk, high-wire spectacle known as Ultimate X will make its return. As one of the most popular and unpredictable match types in IMPACT Wrestling history, anything is possible in the dangerous Ultimate X.
Stay tuned for more on IMPACT Wrestling: Multiverse of Matches LIVE from WrestleCon in Dallas…

Sacrifice

The card is complete and is really appealing…

To be eNYGMAtic…

I have repeated that, since Hard To Kill, we have been blessed with really good episodes. As the Sacrifice go-home show, this episode did its job perfectly. A lot of action and some backstage segments made to build more matches (except Cardona’s). For me, that works and even fuels the fire around Sacrifice. Next week, we will be in Louisville, KY, I can’t tell you what’s next as it’s not taped yet. Some feuds were kept on hold (Myers/Morrissey for example) and I can’t wait to know what’s next.
After what happened on Wednesday night, we can ask ourselves what the future holds for the Honor No More members and Deonna Purrazzo as she is the ROH Women’s Champion. As of today, it would be difficult and, even more, a rumour (a game this website has never played) to say anything about the who, the what and the where of Ring of Honor. What’s happening right now is everything that matters, mostly when it’s in the Impact Zone. Sacrifice is tomorrow and it will be one hell of a show, for sure. I had the chance to talk to Heath this week, I let you read about his state of mind coming to that iPPV.
On this “We Don’t Sacrifice a Nygma Note”, until Sacrifice, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
