AXS TV, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, Inc., announces a pair of updates to the Network’s March lineup of exclusive New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) episodes—highlighting changes to the episodes airing on March 24 and March 31 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT (3 AM GMT).

March 24 will now showcase the finale of NJPW’s New Year’s Golden Series one week early, and then, on March 31, the Network puts the spotlight on two star-studded tag-team contests featuring the semi-main event and main event from NJPW’s landmark 50TH Anniversary spectacular.

AXS TV’s Updated NJPW Programming Lineup for March 24 and March 31 is as follows:

March 24 – New Years Golden Series, filmed live from Sapporo, Japan on 2/20/22

The 2022 New Years’ Golden Series comes to a close, as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada defends NJPW’s most coveted prize against Los Ingobernables de Japón figurehead—and longtime rival—Tetsuya Naito in this hotly-anticipated main event.

March 31 – 50th Anniversary Event, filmed live from Tokyo, Japan on 3/1/22

AXS TV presents exclusive coverage from NJPW’s 50TH Anniversary celebration, featuring semi main-event Champions vs. champions matchup that finds Heavyweight Tag Team titleholders Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI stepping into the squared circle to face Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Ryusuke Taguchi and Master Wato.
Then, stay tuned for a generational clash for the ages, as NJPW’s past and present collide in an epic six-man tag team main event pitting Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and 68-year-old NJPW legend Tatsumi Fujinami against 72-year-old fellow NJPW icon Yoshiaki Fujiwara, with Minoru Suzuki and Zack Sabre Jr.
