As announced yesterday during the MLW Fusion episode, Major League Wrestling revealed a new participant in the 40-wrestler Battle Riot as MLW returns to New York City’s Melrose Ballroom on June 23, featuring an MLW Fusion TV taping. The Battle Riot has officially become Lucha lit with Lince Dorado entering the 40-wrestler extravaganza!
The lynx of Lucha looks to outlast 39 other wrestlers as MLW makes its highly anticipated return to the Big Apple after 3 years.
Innovative as he is evasive in the ring, Lince promises to claw through the competition and grab his golden ticket to a shot at the World Champ. A wily wrestler with a penchant for pouncing his opponents, Dorado will have to move quickly and avoid being pinned, thrown over the top rope or submitted in literally the biggest match in the sport.
Having toured on the Japanese and Mexican circuits, Dorado can adapt to a variety of wrestling styles and competitors. A newcomer to MLW, Lince is determined to showcase his world-class talents in the ring.
Could Dorado’s lightning speed and endless Lucha arsenal ignite victory? Find out LIVE in New York City on June 23 at MLW Battle Riot IV.
WHAT IS THE BATTLE RIOT?
A mash-up of a battle royal, royal rumble and anything goes street fight, this super-sized main event will feature 40 wrestlers with new participants entering the ring every 60 seconds. There will be surprises! There will be legends! There will be WTF entries… and there will be no disqualifications. Elimination is by pinfall, submission or by throwing an individual over the top rope. Anything is possible in a Battle Riot.
WHAT DOES THE WINNER GET?
The winner gets a World Heavyweight Title Shot anywhere, anytime. It could be that night; it could be in 6 months. The challenger has the key to unlock an instant title shot against whoever the champion is.
